Bought one yesterday ...

Postby dogfm » Sun Apr 12, 2009 10:35 am

I didn't expect to even buy new. My wife is learning to drive & I wanted something safe and small for her to drive and build some experience ... went to the local Toyota garage, the 6' 5" salesman got into the back ... we went for a test drive and I ended up buying one.

Great fun and surprisingly torquey.

How long were you quoted for delivery? Any discounts out there at the moment?

Hi Jason,

Delivery at the moment is not too bad obviously this is dependent on spec and colour.

Which one are you thinking of going for, and were would you be purchasing from, as some dealers will have showroom stock, so this enables them to turn the cars around quicker >?

Hi

After a few weeks looking around and a few months watching T4 thinking maybe about test driving an Aygo, I decided to test drive an iQ. The £0 Road fund licence and excellent combined MPG swung it for me and I placed my order this afternoon.

I originally wanted Amythyst Purple but was told it would be 13 weeks delivery so instead I opted for black with around a two week lead time. I can't wait after spending all evening and night looking at reviews, brouchures, videos and pictures of the iQ.

I went for the iQ2 with iUrban.
