Hi all from sunny Buckinghamshire. Just downsized big time from a Hyundai Santa Fe SUV to a IQ2 in white... looking forward to saving fuel, lower insurance, servcing, road tax...

Yep with 106000 on the clock, fuel prices way up, a couple of major mechanical failures, and being out of warranty, the Santa Fe was just getting too expensive... however, you're gonna love the IQ. Going from a big vehicle with a large load space to a very small car is going to mean that you have to compromise, but my approach is going to be that on those rare occasions when I need to transport loads of stuff, I'll hire something - I reckon in the long term the savings with the IQ will easily cover the cost of a hire of a larger car for a few days.

I agree with your there. When you think about it, how often do you use all that extra space in your car. Its just carrying a lot of extra weight for no reason.
